In an insurance agency you get to know many home, farm/ranch and business property owners. Several years ago a couple of people asked for help in attempting to sell their property. Historically property in Eastern Montana had reasonable values into the late 1970's but since that time sales values had declined and sale prices were very unpredictable. There was hope that an organized persistent marketing effort would produce more consistent values.
I obtained the correct education, testing and realty licenses. I then obtained my own Brokers license and started Redwater Realty in Circle, Montana. I have listed and sold the following properties.-

I have also helped many FOR SALE BY OWNER sellers with appraisals, negotiations and documents. As a volunteer service we help new people find homes to rent and provide community information. We generally begin an advertising program locally and then expand State Wide and National. We advertise in papers, realty catalogs, web sites, various internet sites, direct mailing, direct phone calls and our own list of interested people. There is interest and demand for farms, ranches, businesses, and homes in the country. We get calls from people looking for acreages to build a home on. Small older homes in town are harder to sell and will generally take more time.
